The Lunch Box (203-227-4808) at Weston Center is a casual restaurant offering pizza delivery, sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, specialty salads and more. It serves breakfast (including homemade donuts) lunch and dinner, as well as baked goods and coffee, lattes, and ice cream. And they deliver! Open seven days a week, the Lunch Box’s menu has options for wide-ranging tastes, from healthy salads, matzo ball soup, special in-house cured meats, freshly-baked pizza, burgers, steak and fish. Diners can partake in a glass of wine from the San Robies Valley of California or a micro-brew from Vermont with their meal.

Josh and Jessica Tolk of Weston are the new owners of The Lunch Box, which closed for renovations early this spring but was expected to quickly reopen. Weston First Selectman Gayle Weinstein proclaimed Friday, May 2, as Dante and Barbara Zacavish Recognition and Appreciation Day. The Zacavishes ran The Lunch Box from 1977 until turning the business over this month to the Tolks.
